The Lions strongly support diabetes awareness & prevention programs, especially for youth

Diabetes is a major cause of vision loss

• The Lions support health fairs in the community to promote healthy lifestyles that help prevent and treat diabetes.
• The Lions support Camp Possibilities and Camp Destiny. These are summer camps for children with diabetes
• We also hold an annual STRIDES walk to help the community be more aware of the difficulties of diabetes and help raise funds for camp scholarships for those who can’t afford to attend.
